Ultra Fine Vermiculite is seived down to a fine mesh size and ranges from around 140 to 200 mesh.
It is an expanded mineral in the mica family. It is a low refractory insulating material with has many applications. It can be mixed into clay bodies to aid in thermal shock resistance, and a coarse mesh is often wedged into cone packs.
