When it comes to cleaning DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters), it’s important to clean them extensively. Using an electric kiln in the final steps of cleaning a filter will help pull any remaining dirt out. Kilns can be used to de-oxidize soot and turn it into ash, making it easier to be removed. Utilizing a kiln for the DPF cleaning process ensures that filters are properly and thoroughly cleaned, allowing them to function properly.

The kilns can also be designed as top-loading, front-loading or as car kilns with a removable floor and door making it convenient to load and unload. Kiln walls are 4 1/2” insulating brick with 1” ceramic fiberboard and 1” air space created by the tube frame. The result of all this attention to detail? Options for customization:
First, select the correct voltage for your kiln’s space - 208V or 240V, as well as phasing - either single-phase or three-phase. If you are unsure, please check with an electrician before placing your order. Then choose which kiln controller best suits your needs - the KilnStar 3-key controller, 12-key controller, or Genesis touchscreen controller. Finally, choose the loading style you'd prefer, between the standard front-loading style or car-loading style, which allows you to load your filters into a chamber which is then rolled on a track into the kiln for cleaning.

Kiln comes standard with a stand, two peephole plugs, the instruction manual, and a warranty card.
