Green Nickel Oxide (NiO) is a glaze additive/colorant that is more concentrated than nickel carbonate. This material is used in small percentages to produce mute colors in glazes. Please note that green nickel oxide, along with all other varieties of nickel oxide, is refractory and can raise the maturing temperature of glazes if used in large amounts.
