Brushing Medium is typically added to glazes to produce a brushing consistency for smooth and even application. It is ideal for converting glazes formulated for dipping or spraying, to be applied with a brush. The amount required will vary depending on the chemistry makeup of the glaze it is added to. We recommend starting with about 5 grams for every pound of dry glaze.
Brushing medium can also be added to slips and underglazes to enhance brushability.

Brushing medium is an organic additive and may grow bactieria and mold over time. Mix in small batches and use within 7-10 days.
